IDEE Golf in Turkey
Because of the mild climate in most parts of the country, great opportunities await national and international golfers as well as potential real-estate owners.
Golf was introduced to Turkey at the end of 1800s. In 1895 the first golf club was founded in İstanbul "Istanbul Golf Club." The first professional golf course in Turkey, Istanbul Klassis Golf Country, opened in 1994.
The National Golf Club, Gloria Golf Club, Nobilis, Tat in Belek, Antalya, and Kemer Golf and Country Club followed them in Istanbul.

Kemer Golf & Country Club is located 25 km. from downtown.
The golf course designed by Johann Dudock Van Heel is an 18 hole-course with par 74 and has a championship layout. Three testing academy holes complement the full-size driving range and short game practice area.
The course measures 6,156 meters (=6,730 yards).

Klassis Golf & Country Club in Silivri is 65 km away from Istanbul.
Former Ryder Cup Captain designed this challenging course on a hillside. Golfers will have to overcome heights of 60 meters. The view is spectacular. From the white tees, the course measures 5,850 meters (=6,435 yards) and is par 72. There are also a nine hole-academy course, driving range, and well-stocked Pro Shop.
Istanbul Golf Club is close to the city center, has nine holes, and is favored by many locals. The par 65-course holds many club and open tournaments and hosts a very active social scene.

Gloria is an amazing course winding its way through a pine forest and seven lakes.
From the championship white tees, the course measures 6,296m (=6,922 yards). Par 72.
Handicap Certificates must be produced.

The new nine-hole Gloria Verde golf course circles a large artificial lake where four holes are affected. From the white tees the course measures 3,148m (=3,461 yards). Par 36. There are two different tee positions available
Architect David Thomas is proud of his design at Nobilis. The course has become a favorite among visiting golfers.
From the championship white tees, the course measures 6,312m (=6,943 yards). Par 72.

The loop of three nine-hole courses make Tat an exciting destination for all levels of golfers: Tat, Belek, and International. The view of the Mediterranean from the course is breathtaking.

The Tat & Belek combination measures 6,115m (=6,690 yards). Par 72.The Tat & International measures 6,298m (=6,890yards). Par 72.
The Belek & International measures 6,199m (=6,780 yards). Par 72.
There are also a practice area and a well-stocked pro-shop.

Voted twice by Golf World as the 39th best course in Europe, the National Golf Club was designed by the Irish duo of David Feherty and David Jones. This course is the venue for the PGA Seniors Belek Open.

The first 18 holes will open at the end of 2002 and second 18 at the beginning of 2003.

Due to open in September 2003, The SULTAN beckons the heartiest of golfers to take par 72 6330 meters challenge.
